April 2010: 100 Heads for Haiti

Michael Glenwood created this drawing for the 100 Heads For Haiti exhibition, organized by Spur Design to benefit the Doctors Without Borders Haitian relief effort. 100 illustrators were each invited to contribute an original piece of art, with all proceeds going to the relief effort.

BEST OF SHOW: Glenwood's Haiti artwork was awarded Best of Show in the juried exhibition of the Illustrators Club of Washington, Maryland and Virginia. The Illustrators Club is the third largest association of illustrators in the country, after the Society of Illustrators (NYC) and the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles. The exhibition was held in the Edison Gallery in Washington's gallery district.
